Day and Night

The day is warm
a still calmness is in the air
the sun lazing above
peaceful serentiy all around

A day to travel
with no place to go
to wander endlessly
let time flow

The breeze sweeps gently
across my face
The warmth of the sun
gives me inner grace

The breeze ripples through
the leaves in the trees
making one flowing movement
like waves in the sea
This continuous flow
all with one mind
the togetherness of nature
all in time

As shadows fall, illusions take form
this transformation eludes the dawn
This definite outline of each form
it looks so different at dusk and dawn
