Elusive love

She is Aurora's rare light,
transforming the Northern sky.
She is the lone star of night
guiding my floating mind's eye.

She is Aurora's cold tears
on Morning glory petals;
pure as an infant's new fears
but worth more than all metals.
She is hotter than day's peak,
yet her presence still I seek.

She is wonder number nine;
She is everything but mine.

Nine?

This is a lovely, wistful poem and I enjoyed it very much. I dont have any useful suggestions to make that might improve it. I was not perhaps too sure about the significance of number nine but I am sure you will tell me. If it's wonders of the world there are only seven I thought and therefore she would have to be number 8. Keith
