So Spake God

Spring has set in with its usual severity.
                                                                       ---Walpole

And the God of calendars did call this time spring;
just so, Mother Nature has other ideas …

evidently.

Spring (I whisper this very

Spring (I whisper this very quietly in case I scare her off again) showed her face here today, albeit timidly after a weekend of snow storms and high winds. This expresses just how I felt on Sunday defrosting the car. :-) Kaz It's impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside.

Spring ...

holds my wishes for her arrival in contempt. Her frosty sneers weigh heavily, at times, on my mood. I was so hoping she'd listen to your (Kaz's) subtly expressed want. It's apparent, to my surprise, that what you desire isn't greeted with the blushing respect that mine is not granted. At least she isn't sexist. Yours, Chuck
