Valley of the Blue Moon

Lost in the valley
of the blue moon
The sand dunes
are brushed lightly
by the gentle
cool breeze
of the night
drifting towards
The dark distant
mountains
shadowed by
a deep purple haze

Beautful imagery. I love

Beautful imagery. I love the way the flow drifts along. Its almost dream like. Any poem that uses purple has my vote :-) This is great. Kaz It's impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside.

Valley of the blue moon

Hi Kaz I saw a book on the bookshelf what caught my eye were the colours of an outstretched wing of the IBIS. I took the book off of the shelf and found it to be Wilbur Smith "The Seventh Scroll" But just seing the colours it only took seconds and i was transported to the desert in the cool of the evening with a gentle breeze i could feel the hairs on my arms rise, errie chilling drawing me towards the mountians etc. I love everything to do with Egypt. I would love to visit the valley of the kings before it was flooded by the Aswan Dam. I long to walking into the tomb's to feel the energies left by the Ancient Ones to pick up on their vibes etc. I am drawn to the mystery of this always If only wall can talk but of cause they do if you can read the Hieroglyphics's The original exhibits there were it showed the daily life of times and having a guide who has the wonderful knowledge you could see and hear the images I recently went to the Metropolitan Museum in New York to visit the Egyptian exhibit there. I also love Rodan and this place is amazing. Will have to visit again.
