Apple Blossom Snow

As I walk
a gentle breeze blows
teasing through
the branches of
the Apple blossom tree

As their satin petals fall
they dance on thermals
gracefully down
to the soft earth below

All in slow motion
I am covered
In a shower of
Apple blossom
snow

The aroma
so pleasant
drifts with them
on their journey
destination
unknown

Soft and silky
so precious
each satin gem

To travel
the cosmos
until
journeys
end

Apple Blossom Snow is a

Apple Blossom Snow is a great expression. A beautifully written poem. I love the way you express yourself and 'take me there'. Welcome to the site - I really look forward to seeing more of your work. Kaz It's impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside.

Apple blossom snow

I was there with you Maggie and the "Apple blossom snow" image was wonderful as well as the whole poem. Since the image is really one of spring and nature I suppose I was expecting you to say you were travelling the earth rather than the cosmos, but I guess it does emphasise the transporting effect the scene and imagery had on you.
