Actions of The She

her finger pointed straight at me
in her mind I was already guilty

she was judge
jury and executioner

she goose stepped
to were I stood
and defiled my
unblemished aura

the blame she was firing at me
had all the hostility
of a pain inflicting Nazi soldier

I caught each hostile word
and lovingly caressed it
before sending it into the Light

I refused to second her fight
I stood in silence as she
came toe to toe
I knew this argument
would open the door
for me to go

Her fists rained down upon me
but I refused to retaliate
I accepted her punishment
knowing that soon
she would punch herself out

When calmness finally descended
I picked up my suitcase and began to leave
she just sat in a drink christened chair
staring without expression
at the broken mirror
hanging perilously on the wall
