Boone ( North Carolina)
Boone, beautiful Boone
I hear you calling me back home
To walk upon your soft brown earth
To breathe in the pure mountain air
To drink of your waters
So pure, so crystal clear
So wild so free
So alive are we
To wake before dawn
and watch the sun rise
in slow motion
up from behind the mountain side
and watch each day unfold
To fall asleep
after we watch the stars arise
majestically in the sky
of midnight blue
Such beauty to behold
each and every day and night
The rebirth
In the Almighty's
beautiful creation
So honoured to
witness this
amazing
