Mysterious Messiah - Part Two

i am taken
from my mothers womb
to be proudly
paraded in front
of an expectant audience
i do not have any say in the matter
i may just as well be
a show dog at Cruffs

however, my novelty
will soon wear off
and i will become
one more faceless face

my mothers womb was secure
i felt safe
it was safe
now i am to be
one more
vulnerable casualty
on planet Earth

i screamed
so loudly on my arrival
because I hate returning here
this life I want to be my last

no matter
how many messiahs
are sent
to this materialistic hell
nothing ever changes
Intolerances increase
and wars are but a newly created tv soap
so common that
we become immune to this
raging bull of a life
