Negative Inner Programme

We should not suffer, our purpose and experience
here is not to suffer. Life has no value if
it offers us only pain and conflict. What stems
from this is a Negative Inner Programme, which the
Ego happily dresses itself in.This enables him
to inflict more viscous actions.

The pleasure the Ego has inflicting pain
takes it away from its Original Path. To
disguise its evil actions, the Ego may fool
its friends by finding false refuge in religion or politics.
This masterstroke easil fools many, and widens
its scope to inflict ever increasing pain.

The Negative Inner Programme is then boosted
by the Ego, who adds even more levels. This improves
his ability to observe the pain he inflicts. And so
by clever manouvering the Ego may find himself
in positions of power, he may become a vicar,
a policeman or a politician.

And so we have covered a small journey, and
we have seen why we as a species are doomed.
By allowing our Ego to control what we do,our confinement
here, in the mundane murkiness of physical life will sadly
continue.

This raw, honest and powerful my friend, and extremely well articulated. Finding false refuge in religion or politics really stands out and resonates wih me. Nice work! until it ends for us...

and then new life will have a turn..in the murky gloom. Your poem speaks volumes...one of those that make me think out loud.
