You,me and Cupid

Cupid stood atop a lush hill:
on his face,a wide smile of mischief;
and with ever unrivalled relief,
his impeccable bow thus employed.

But i was never able to feel
his darts bite my unsuspecting heart;
so perfect his old skill and art
that every emotion was fast deployed!

One must never frown at Love's wiles
when the other's heart gives yours smiles.
who can on my heart pour blame;
anyone who has never felt the same?

You,me and Cupid

deployed is the only word that I found through the rhym off some. But very good. I enjoyed it.
