Candle Dance

Flames we once danced to

hide in shadows of forgotten desires

I slowly reach into warm depths

to re-ignite your wanton fire.

Hypnotic movement from your hips

as liquid forms in pools

sensual aromas hang in wisps

as it permeates the room.

Flickering back and forth,

to the tango of your rhythms

I reach dark corners,

unexplored and once forbidden.

The waning flame exhausts itself

no match for what we've captured,

embers disappear into the night

as we meld into the fire

of our rapture . . . . . . .

Raunchy and sensual

I could picture the whole steamy scene Janice...just as well you decided not to take us onto what happened next.lol. I particularly liked "sensual aromas hang in wisps". The only image that did not work quite so well for me was at the end where with the candle extinguished you write "its embers dissappear into the night". This is more a fire image than a candle one...the later either burn and provide light or are rapidly extinguished and you are in the dark. Keith

Raunchy?

Depends on how spirited your Tango was I guess Janice, but i just assumed that it must have been...lol...you obviously have very romantic candles with slow burning wicks. Keith
