the mysterious messiah
rubs his hands together
creating fire

now we shall see
the faceless hordes burn
and we shall hear their
harrowing screams
as their flesh sizzles
like overcooked bacon

and maybe a lesson
will be learnt
by those who stood by
and did nothing
