Danger Ahead !!!

a new impetus is needed
the old guard is a mess

the ideaologies behind
communism, socialism
and capitalism

are in need of major surgery
not one soul can scream
- I live in the land of the free -

each day
sees the march of Big Brother
with its faceless armies
nearing our front door

when one morn
we shall awaken
to the eradication of our freedom
Big Brother presents to you

A bit reactionary Lenny

in que behind your other works this one begs for a little stretch of wit.Not being much for the political poetry I still read this in content and I am coming to the theme but what it lacks is that Lenny outside look you have.Tweek it but don't change the chassis. In ink, Dabbler ps the Over-pond-not-by-popular-media point of view is notable as well.

Very hard hitting and powerfully written as always my friend :-) These guys are so thick skinned I doubt they'd feel surgeons knife or it would come close to cutting out the bureaucracy! Nice work :-) Kaz It's impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside.

Hi Lenny...

I have been keeping up with those crazy politicians..I can see your poem actually happening...it has in fact..during riots and natural dissasters..and you are right..it is only gonna get worse. But I want to bet on mankind to do the right thing in the pinch...but we'll have to get the greedy out first....
