Depression

I walk through the leaves with enthusiasm

then sigh,

The enthusiasm dies.

I have a proportional amount of piece of mind

I propose to keep it at all costs

It is lost.

I look up at the cream colored skies,

At meter long rivers to which my heart dies

A certificate given to the wise

Who walk through the horse weed that grows on high.

To the jackass grenadier that throws

and miss

It is this

This that makes the coldest heart cry.

It is this unhappiness that kills

beauty in thine eyes

I sigh,

The beauty dies.

I liked how the ending sort

I liked how the ending sort of, almost, tied in with the beginning. That was good. The theme was BEAUTIFUL! Your word use really got the point across.
