Dirty Painting

when started  it was uncomfortable

soon it became unbearable

every stroke an embarrassment

 

each tube torn open urgently

applied in uneven foundations

over dust tainted canvas

 

every distraction secretly expected

wasted medium smears this floor

in colors more intricately blended

 

a portrait,abstract, or landscape

the artist was never sure which

still he paints this dirty picture

It is better to sketch scenery,

then to sketch on a scenario.I have been preparing to paint a mosaic...I just got mosaic gessop yesterday from my storage and I have four cans of paint.I have been doing stencils with an awesome artist and she started me thinking of using three mediums together...Graffiti,stencils,and the third is top secret....this poem is a running theme I am on so I thank you for the comment MM.
