Time Has Left The Building

time has run out
not looking back

the door remains ajar
here I am alone
and not alone

I'm in my ramshackle home
and then I'm not, not even here

my tired eyes seek no beauty
in the heavenly skies above

my soul has become weary
of constantly being misunderstood

the more questions I ask
the more answers
keep taunting me

its time to turn back time
and reach into a memory
that can outshine the darkness
that wants to capture my soul

Right on dude

I like to wind my way around the mellow roads and see were I end up. Some places are soooo nice and my soul breathes in the calmness. Other mellow roads turn into nightmares, but still allow my poet out! Lenny
