they
try

inside my head
as
the waves
crash freely
without restriction
please
no one mention
extinction
they
want anhilation
they want mass destruction
a bleak ended junction
they want my suicide
to be a frustrated bride

Powerful

I love the metaphor here, especially the final two lines. Fantastic twist. Not sure if my reputation precedes me, but spelling is an obsession of mine. With "anhilation" I think you're looking for "annihilation." ~ Ronda

your comments Ronda. The spelling! Well sometimes I fly through my work when I'm in the zone! Spelling goes out of the window, however I should slow down and check; alas I can be a lazy poet!!! LoC
