Numbers
A list of numbers are what we've become
It doesn't add up, I can't find the sum
At the time of our birth we receive the first
It follows us through life just like a curse
As we go to school we get our next
It's written in our books of text
When we start in sports another is there
It's placed on the uniforms that we wear
When we graduate school there is a scale
A list of numbers from head to tail
If we choose to serve another number we get
Forced into your head you will never forget
Number follow us even to death
When you pick your plot for your last place of rest
I hope this little story will open your eyes
Your just a number to them, you can not deny
