Harvest Reapers

They came in an  early morning raid

tactical masters descending on the ill

through a humble abode they tread

superior fire power they wielded

all this for sixty five emerald plants

that keep nausea from starving

pain from taking valued moments

away from a grandmother...

Legalize it...

Though I haven't smoked in 17 months I still support an individuals right to make their own choice; and I don't think anyone has the right to tell anyone they can't. Big brother has more important issues to deal with than this; such as war & our national trade deficit; but like any good business our government doesn't want to put themselves out of a job; so they take up distractions like the war on drugs; or trying to solve every other country in the worlds problems just so they can pretend to be doing something; so they can stay employed; however, in the end the same problems that exsist in the world today have been here since our great grandfathers; nothing ever really chnages, but continue to pay your taxes or they might just distract themselves by throwing you in jail.

well stated Frost and welcome back

the line between recreation and medicine should never blur like this California and other states decided among thewmselves and that just doesn't seem valid for anything these days. In ink, Dabbler

This is so sad...

But I can believe it happened! I'm stunned. I hope you finish this poem someday. They ought to legalize it... Cat
