Casted with a core

designed to leave

our mark

some a sketch

with shading

others an equation

with numbers

or words

some  artistic recorders

others factual writers

all designed to wear

until dulled

then sharpened again

This is how life was intended

The Changes and Challenges in life help us to grow wiser and stronger. We will never forget the past nor wish to shut the door on it. We all have made our own mark good, or bad. Great piece of work!

We all have lives like the uses of pencils. It is sad to think that some leave the pencil in the case, completely unused while others create such beauty. Ah... such is life. I think the poem is perfect as is. Always, Cat
