stardom after pain

when the head is out

and almost a quarter second

later ,a reluctant cry is heard

the woman can beat her chest

as the basis of existence of every soul

from the giant ,to the tiniest cradle in the west

you can be the one to stand

on your head,if she'll have you to

or wait endlessly in vain

such is how she controls the earthly provinence

her womb her stepping stone

and our hearts her noble heights,

and pinacle

Firstly I liked beginning,

Firstly I liked beginning, which had a nice coloquial quality to it and some of the imagery was good...although I'm really sure where your were going with it. If you could have another look at it and maybe tighten up the internal logic so that we can follow you, as your final conclusion is very good. Secondly, and this isn't to do with the poem. You've posted 7 poems today... all of which were posted one after another. Because of this I feel reluctant to comment on your other work, I might, but I'm reluctant to. If, next time, you post one or two, then we will be more willing to comment and add our thoughts. Kieran "Mind, how you go!" - Roger McGough's poem for LSD Awareness Week
