a spring of benefits
the belly is swollen
the platter is plain
then an uneasy gulp
is out of the throat
hands and spoons
one or both
is starvation free
like the pot that is full
to oils or fools
preety face to ugly faced
the bowel is full
and at least one part
is merry and pretty
than the face
or the beauties lace
free for all
food for all
the hand that blesses the soil
or the hand that bridges
the spoil
are full somehow
to grace
and work not only
but a cloudy sky
of a seasons harvest
