May the God bless me?

May the God bless me

May the God bless me
to live and love my life
May the god love me
to enjoy and spend my life with glee
May the God lift me
from this ugly poverty pit
Why the God fails to hear my calls and cries

Am I a cursed sinner to him? or
Am I a devil to the eyes of my lord
Why he leaves me here with these sufferings
What for I have been
kept in this burning
hell?

Whether devotion is
inadequate to him
Whether my nobility is questionable?
Why he is making delay to show his mercy?
Can I get a reply from him or
Can I get his fingers to come out
He has to open his eyes and lips

Sakkthee, this is a deeply tormented

yet beautiful poem. You expose yourself deeply as a man who cares about rightness, goodness and love. But why bring god or any gods into it? It is up to you and you know best. God is a psychological creation that absolves us of our personal integrity. There is no god or gods, only your goodness. cheers, Jess
