Desire
There was a definate flame.
A fire in her eyes.
Her smile said, "Come to me...
and I will help you understand...
..come, let me take your hand,
and my fruit will teach you to be wise."
There was no resisting her.
She flashed a deck, and held the cards.
She beckoned.....and I joined her.
She promised her flame wouldn't burn.
Saying, "I will help you learn."
"Let your fears burst.....and fall to shards."
Twas then that I moved closer to her flame...
..and on my shoulder, was her breath of fire.
She said, "This road, we all will travel."
Then our bodies became one,
and when all was said and done,
I had learned the journey.....called "Desire".
