Black Wings

Take my wet coat off Strike a match, light a candle Take a drink of something strong Find myself alone again A dark room, souh of Michigan Touch your picture Remember your face I could never forget it ever again Put my feet up Sit down and listen to our song Recalling long lost memories tasteless kisses, feelings grew strong Fire lights my darken eyes If I could only see you again Me, would you recognize? Angles black wings Wake me in the night Fallen feathers, like distant memories Take back the light Was it just dream? Or did you watch over me that night? And if you are listening to my voice tonight Please come back to me I miss you so badly just a moment of your grace, i could sleep alright It's been a year since yesterday But i still cant find my way

Love the imagery

I love the imagery that you set up in this poem. I can see the room your sitting in. The line It's been a year since yesterday is brilliant.
