I agree with the Sheep!

I popped by for a second read, and then a third and then...lol... I couldnt stop..... This is art and it becomes more beautiful every time I read it. :-) Kaz x It's impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside.

fits neatly

in the romantic tradition of imaginative flight both into and out of the world at the same time--a plunging into the depths of self away from cruel material reality. the two lines that affected me here were: "stalking the false tidal hopes/and affected blossoms of spring": an extremely poetic recognition of nature's sometimes deceitful promises. a work of fantasy, and a true poem at the same time. great job.

The implosion of my

The implosion of my heart Left no reason for his orbit Yet there he floats Marked by faithless dreams Are great lines and the whole piece conjures some very strong imagery. :-) Kaz It's impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside.

Stalking the false tidal

Stalking the false tidal hopes And affected blooms of spring to And licking the healing wounds Of a vampire summer to Hiding on the precipice Awaiting an icy solstice I know these seasons from seasons past. A beautifully developed metaphor - poignant and ineffably moving. Mike Photo: Me, September 7th 2007 - my 66th Birthday. I wondered, as always,...

if the metaphor was too strong. I fear that when trying to convey my point of view sometimes it is too intense and the reader may be lost or bored with it. Thanks sooo much for your comments and constant encouragment!!! "For every shadow, no matter it's depth, is threatened by the morning's light..." <3 Emarie

another moon

You conjure beautiful images and share them through your words. Another wonderful poem! Two notes: a misspelling, "dieing" - "dying" and something about "evaporated fun" doesn't suit the beauty of the piece. Perhaps "fun" is too casual for the rest of the images here. Not sure, but it tripped me up right there. Thank you for sharing your lovely work! ~ Ronda

Two people stood

Two people stood looking at a painting on a wall. One said to the other, "what do you do"? The "other" said "I paint the paintings that hang on this wall. What do you do?" "I paint the walls your paintings hang on" They both agreed, each other an artist :) I have read this poem at leat ten times and gain different perception each time. I really have no words and that's a good thing whan I am experiencing a work of art. Mark
