Beautiful

I am one of those literal lunatics, attracted to anything regarding the moon. Funny how I consider the moon a female presence where you have presented it as a male. I probably would have reversed the roles of the star and moon. That is probably a lingering effect of mythology lurking about my brain, though. This is a gorgeous piece. There is fluency from start to finish with more than enough imagery to illustrate the magic of the night. ~ Ronda

'Literal Lunatics' haha

Thanks so much for the wonderful comment!!! I have always felt the moon as a male presence and I felt as a child that he must be my brother or perhaps my father. Either way we belonged together, of that I was sure. Now as a woman I understand the pull and what place he holds in my life. I know its strange but a child's fantasy can be nothing more than spectacular. Thanks again!!! "For every shadow, no matter it's depth, is threatened by the morning's light..." <3 Emarie

Not strange at all

Without the fantasies of our childhood, it is doubtful that the realities of our lives would ever occur! I could say everything that you did about the moon, only there is still that odd difference between us and the gender thing. Weird. I think that mine generates from a Wiccan influence, as well as the Greek mythology that I believe I mentioned earlier. Either way, we're both lunatics! ~ Ronda

All things that shine silver

chrome with moon light upon it You could write of a flickering florcecent bulb and make it intriguing and attractive. In ink, Dabbler

A starlit bride - what a

A starlit bride - what a thought - constant, devoted, and guide to the moon, in an eternally unconsumated and therefore utterly remarkable love affair. It's a lovely image.
