Secret Lies
I watched her
heal all and
was astonished
that such things
could lie
that she could lie
so low and still
noble but I knew
what to do…lie
and wait maybe
just maybe
its fate you know
for those quiet words
to bring peace
for a moments time
So my breath catches
and rather stays
by force
so that I might not
yell out and disperse
such truths
truths that would
otherwise be
secret lies
heal all and
was astonished
that such things
could lie
that she could lie
so low and still
noble but I knew
what to do…lie
and wait maybe
just maybe
its fate you know
for those quiet words
to bring peace
for a moments time
So my breath catches
and rather stays
by force
so that I might not
yell out and disperse
such truths
truths that would
otherwise be
secret lies
