For To Catch a Cornered Smile

Faites excuse! for

to wax poétique:

Le temps passe.

I came across a dirge

about a little cat;

I thought ’twould

catch a smile

at the corners

Of the mouth

of the mistress

of a kitten

Who'd admire

the little brat.

Eh up, cock! Tha’s worked

Eh up, cock! Tha's worked a snicky 'un theer. Tha's nobbut a reet crafty monkey. Lancashire dialect roughly translated as that's a crafty little trick. I hope it works. I tried something similar with this at 16. She dumped me for a guy with more 'taking out' money: LOVE SONG I sing an old song, earth song, A delicate you and me song, A moving song, a light song, A dancing fall of leaves song, A rainbow song, a shining song, An interlaced with sky song, A turning song, a keeping song, A tracery of hair song, A breaking song, a drowning song, A bathing in your eyes song, An old song, an earth song, A lit by the sun within song, An old song, an earth song A love song sung. Ah well ... Mike Photo: Me, September 7th 2007 - my 66th Birthday. Guernsey, Channel Islands, UK For my own orginal graphic art please visit: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7911705@N07
