A tribute to Andrew

There is this kid.
(At 50 I reserve the right to call anyone under 25 a kid)
who has built the best poetry site on the web.
Why?
It won’t exist in a thousand years,
well it might.
Why has he done so much work?
Created a place for serious poets to truly interact.
I asked him,
he said
I don’t know.
His creation is better than any poem I ever wrote.
His ideologies have structured the site
for something better than democracy.
More like working anarchy.
He is a kid,
but somehow innately understands,
altruism is the highest form of self serving behavior
He has posted only one poem. “diesel breathing”
which is a bloody good poem.
I don’t understand Andrew, but I totally respect him.
I don’t even look at other poetry sites any more.
I am home

Thank you Andrew.

Many people don't realise

That that little white box at top right (with the little magnifying glass in it)is a search engine. You can search by Poet, Title or content of comments, but not, I think contents of poems, just type in keywords and press enter. Or, every poets name is a link to their profile where you can find all their works listed. cheers, Jess wishing you a Salubrious Solstice

Ditto that Jess

Sometimes I wonder how Andrew has managed to put up with me after all this time and my bloopers along the way. I guess I get lucky and come up with some good ideas at times AND he is a very understanding guy. He is truly one of the most pleasant people I know. Mark
