In the grey
I'm trying to unlive it,
it clashes with my dreams.
But here you are...outstanding,
my suffering redeemed.
Devoid of the hardships,
oblique, away they fade.
swimming in those soft pastels
almost squeezing out the grey.
Stories we've been told,
I'm tasting all I've heard.
rejuvinated by the fire
and the magic that occured.
With any luck...I'll outlive it,
set my chin against the flame.
In the greying worlds indifferance,
I will never be the same.
