Master of all the Clowns

The circus is here! The circus is here!

Can you believe they're in our town?

They're putting up tents and practicing tricks,

I love the elephants most of all.

Here comes the tiny, funny-car

full of big-top shoes and crazy, wild orange hair...

..they always act really silly,

good thing they don't mingle with the animals.

I've got to have my popcorn

whilst I watch the high-wire act,

but while I was purchasing popcorn

a clown came right up to me.

He said he was the "head honcho",

the Master of all the Clowns!

I thought, how ridiculous...

..for he could barely carry on a conversation.

Before I took my popcorn to my seat.....I slapped him, with BOTH hands, really hard!

Stupid idiot clown!

The Master of all the Clowns!

Hah! and just what kind of a name is "Bush the Clown"?

I like the elephants most of all

The most noble of creatures and my personal favourites too. I like this Doc - especially the political twist at the end - Bush a clown?? lol - absolutely. Nice one! Kaz It's impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside.

I once got called ‘an

I once got called 'an interfering Limey' for commenting on an American political figure - so I'll content myself with saying this is a cleverly made little piece. Oh! ... and 'Brown' rhymes SO much better with 'clown' don't you think! Mike photo: me, late 20s / early 30s - with 'face furniture version 1'
