Harnessed the Wind

Stop a child from crying

in mid-cry, all the way.

One would have just as much luck trying

to change the night into day.

Attempting to alter the scheme of things

well, I wouldn't know where to begin,

you might as well horse-shoe the leaves in the breeze

and announce that you've harnessed the wind.

Change has it's own way of using Time

and sometimes it cannot be seen,

to try and control change would be a crime

for it's metamorphisis is clear, and is keen.

Never try and alter the Universe.

Manipulate Change, and the heaven's will grin.

You might as well corral all the leaves in the breeze,

and then announce that you've harnessed the wind.
