Critic's Corner: She's All Thumbs, Gee Whiz!

Although she owns a full two ears

in well-fixed place aside her smallish head

that lies upon yon pillow

in her unmade mattressed bed,

I do not think that shrew

nigh right well hears.

Although she plays the drums

for no-grained breads,

and scattered crumbs

in front of big-mall Sears,

she plays them with all thumbs

the while she furious sneers.

Whatever she might think

she ready sees

must fly with all nights'

all-blight breeze

in trendy seas.

-----

Do not! mind what!

she does or says---

or says she does or says,

or says she says she does or says---

she does not---

will not!---

grasp her ABCs.

I get the feeling

she doesn't even or even doesn't spell out her ruffs, flams or tripple ratamacues very well. But is she entertainment at all in that there mall? Non the less I would not give her less then half of what less I have. Mark L

A thoroughly entertaining

A thoroughly entertaining and clever composed piece with a rollicking riveting rhythm. Needs to be read aloud for the full flavour. Mike photo: me, late 20s / early 30s - with 'face furniture version 1'
