In Sane

mind numbing
colonial deprevation
leads the unitiated to
the dawn of solitary
masturbation

pink parrots
whiter
than white
whilst flying
at the dead of night

brake fluid
injected whilst
into my brain
still can't stop me
going insane

Hey Lenny are you sure

are you sure about unitiated? What does it mean? Or are you coining a word? This poem sounds very lonely. One thing is certain - don't need drugs to go insane. Mark

In Sane was

was a spontaneous piece, I just put fingers to keyboard; and In Sane came out. I have re-read the poem and the word uninitiated refers to men/women who cannot find a relationship, and so it leads to solo sex. We don't need drugs Mark, your quite right their; in my opinion drugs are for fools. Sometimes their are mitigating circumstances such as in a film I saw, ended up in a 15yr old being sentenced to death. This poor girl had been raped by her step dad, discarded by her mother and married at 14 to an 18yr old. Jeez, her life was tough, and yes she did murder someone; but christ, she didn't deserve the death penalty. Sorry about that rant and huge disgression. Lenny
