Force of Parts

driven to disinagration

pop out plastic nations

fragile to the masses

that tread upon it

what glue is there?

to hold it all together

as if new again...

without blemish

copper,zinc,aluminum

these are but offal

some what recylelable

shavings from a grinder

spring loaded explosion

calclated to the very first

BOING....!

Down to the ScccREEECh

so break every thing

or knock it into place

grab up what tools you have

to await your turn to tinker

Rubber cement menders

hammers,nails,sodders

craft paste,model glue

what resources have we

a hobby as a country

this antique do-hicky

that came to us ...

some assembly required

Surely I agree it is a right to screen

I invite you to revision it.The title could use a change the stanzas are not tied together very well either.every verse starts a break the nouns really do take this poem apart. I look forward to your insight on my other writes, please continue to be direct. I appreciate this comment. In ink, Dabbler

Although there is spelling questionable here

David the line "a hobby as a country" gives this a high five from me friend. If everybody could do just that - just that much there would be no things such as apathy. Everybody would spend an amount of time involving themseves in THE most important hobby. People would be back to being the glue that holds it together or the people who sew it back together. It is just to "in parts" for me now. I think it should all be fasioneed into a dumpy place (thank you Conect11) Regards, Mark a point in an infinite circle am I

Great eye Mark

This needs to be submited to my post-it note wall in Purgatory I would like to put it on the block in the freezer though and see if I can cut something out of it.The theme works that is valuable insight, one out of two is not so bad. In red ink, IKNB

I liked it

Even tho I have no eye/ear for free verse, this made me wish everyone realized just how fragile earth really is beneath our heavy tread! Thank you. Ffox
