appearances

pretension

convention

scrapes

shallowed

surface

clichés,

platitudes

who cares

whether

we live

low?

not I.

surely,

I urge

too,

not you.

False images.....

we all seem a need to show others, for appearances sake, why? Because of the many weaknesses shown in the words written above in your versed Appearances. Being oneself comes with age and the wisdom to know who you/I really are/am and a willingness to be true to oneself. Happy Holidays my poet friend. :) Patrick/AO

when I feel good I like it is that money? a man told me if I feel good about me because of if I change it is good. Is change money? I feel good I like this poem. Another man told me that we learn by immitating and I'm not sure that is money either.
