to watch life from far away
with only vision
as if you had no touch
even if you had perfect sight
to examine every minute detail
it would never be enough
to replace not being allowed
to touch..

I have always been more

I have always been more easily stirred by the 'proximity senses' [taste, touch, smell] than by the 'distance' senses [sight, hearing]. It's too easy to sanitise the latter. Well said, my friend.
