An Empty Bar Stool

Ran out of luck In this moment I am stuck Things packed and ready to go My heart yells tell her no Pride yells man let her be Won’t anybody save me From a heart that fell to pain Tell her to find a way to remain My heart speaks loudly this night It says how I need to make this right The bottle of vodka speaks in a loud voice As it says you will regret this choice The wise man on the bench calls me a fool He said that your to good for an empty bar stool The friends I have say man follow your heart Even the mirror yells don’t let her depart The cab driver says where you are going today To stop my love from walking so far away I went to her place it must have been late Because the doorman said she left for a new fate I walked as slow as I could as I cried my eyes out That’s the night I learned what love’s about
