Tradewinds

The tradewinds blow, and another weekend has sprouted it's wings,

promising to fly away. We've only a few left, yet to see...

..before we trade this year...for the next.  It's really difficult to say whether or not we're trading "up or down".

We're merely.....trading.

Something we all do, routinely. Think about it.

It's human nature for us to "barter", and to trade.

That's why it's instilled in each of us, to even-learn a trade.

We may start out trading our innocense for knowledge...

..emptying a part of each of us...

..then, no matter how well we've polished and "honed" our trading abilities,

we'll never be able to trade anything else.....ever,

to regain that, back.

Innocense lost? Traded away, is more like it.

Marry...and you've traded your bachelorhood away.

Lose a mate-and gain a sorrow.

trade your today's.....and your left with the days of tomorrow.

Trade away your companionship, and solitude's what you've ordered...

..and consciously relenquish your peace of mind,

and you will have traded for a life chock-full of regret.

Distance yourself from using your personal common sense...

..and you will have traded off the majority of your integrity.

You see, everything has it's price, a posessed reprocussion, a trade off...

..and the only constant is that all trades are fair...

..because you've each traded towards a given consequence.

And that consequence is what you both must be able to live with...

..for you've traded towards an altered future..........one that you must both learn,

to share.

Good ideas

perhaps a bit wordy, but coherent. At a philosophical level must beg to disagree with "It’s human nature for us to "barter", and to trade." I don't think there is such a thing as human nature. A few spelling, punctuation and typo things: even-learn innocense relenquish posessed reprocussion cheers, Jess
