You Did It

The chains that bound me to my inner gravity,

are lying empty on the floor.

The rules that were my master,

can't control me, anymore...

..compliments of a weird elf.

I was stuck inside a box without an opening,

I couldn't see past my own nose.

Was not privy to the light,

and no scent, had life's sweet rose...

..then I met that elf.

What a magic, did transpire.

I began singing a different song.

it was my focus that was in a blur,

those chains weren't there all along...

..I give credit to that elf.

I met my muse, the other day.

His words seemed a bit unkind,

but they had to change the propensity,

I had, within my mind...

..thank you, my favorite elf.

I read it twice

and I seem to see the charactor effects of that very elf in my self...how does he(the elf)do it? If we waste time trying to convert or unconvert each other we will only argue as the time to enjoy life as it is happening. Right here, and now.If some wish to share their faith or lack there of that is understandable, but then perhaps you could invite them to your church or to leave the church. Each side can be abbrasive to the other. Are we fighting over possibilities,or are we sharing them?
