Fear the Love Of God

In a church packed with ammo

a religious text opened

and forced before a "follower"

"Get better with God!"An order,

Do you want to eat?

or be staved among the heathens

on a street corner packed with shoppers

an advertisement page opened

and flashed before a consumer

"Get this toy for your child!"A request,

 Do you want them happy?

 or to hate Santa forever

alone with our soul in silence

a still mind to reflect upon

vivid recollections come easily

"Get it together as best I can."A mantra

Do I want my spirit free?

from what others pervert for gain.

Have you ever seen the work

Have you ever seen the work of the American cartoonist Ron Cobb? One of his works shows a little white kid with heaps of toys and a little black kid in rags with nothing. The white kid is saying "If you got something it's cos you're good and if you got nothing it's because you're bad, just ask Santa". This poem brought it to mind from 35 years back! cheers, Jess

I am a believer in God and His Son Barr none

But I to am very disatisfied with the twisted way men and who ever have decived the masses For the gift is simple when taking as a gift and so complex it becomes when humans handle it But that is the blessing of ignorence and faith you may call it it what you will but all will be revealed if once delivered into the hand of the supernatural BEING who can or dare pluck you out so spirtual you may claim who's spirt is it that you seek? if one is seeking ones self then does he not become his on God A tid bit for the miceses chasing the cheese

Have you read my poem "Killing God" on this site?

most people don't understand how I can be a spiritual atheist. Mostly it's to do with rejecting organised religion and believing that spiritual matters are just science we don't understand yet. But the poem I refer to is an important one to me. cheers, Jess
