The Daydream

You came to me in a daydream,

and the smile in my heart, glowed in my eyes like embers.

What a pleasant surprise.

For I had been missing you.

When reality rudely grasped my mind...

..I thought it to be unkind, for waking me.

Because you were gone, once again,

reminding me that single moments can be both a blessing, and a curse.

If only you were here, now.

I'd share with you the longing in my heart, and how I'd like a brand new start.

Together we could maybe mend the broken moments...

..that weaved the fabric of this daydream.

Doc I just was dreamy

thinking about daydreaming. This is, yes, it is pretty! The title, although the perfect description does not do it justice in my humble opinion. Maybe name her? not sure hmm Mark
