Treads to Tapestry and Cords

there seems to me

to be, a fine thread

visible only

in a still moment

a kite string for

the individual soul

now if each person

you met was given

a thread of your cord

and in return you

received theirs

in exchange...

the two threads build

a string together but

though treads get

tangled easily strings

are less likely to be

tangled...

when enough strings

together  either to

make a cord or

better yet a tapestry

with a shifting pattern

each strand tinted

differently

fluctuating the color

of the tapestry

determined like a

fiber optic filament

by the expression of

each tread...

Disconnection?

then there are tears

and weak spots in the

tapestry that may be

why we are drawn to

help each other

anchor our lives

some people argue

about what they think

is at the other end

of the cord ...

some think it is

a journey from a great

Ball of yarn  unraveling

(they have pictures)

there are those that

see the tapestry

as a whole

they tell stories

I listen.....
