Book Taught

George Macdonald taught me

dreams go farther then any novel

he wrote me directions to dreamland

George Orwell taught me

what I could and could not do with out

he wrote me  directions for caution

Alexander Solzhenistyn taught me

things may be bad but they could be worse

he wrote me directions for survival

Henry Miller taught me

how to put the touch on associates

he wrote the directions to indifference

Sinclair Lewis taught me

about the common man candidly

he wrote directions for observation

numerous other authors taught  this

everything i know can be seen differently

they wrote the directions for escape
