The Beach of Life

A woman walking on the beach.

Thinkinhg about her life, how it turned out.

Not knowing what other roads would've been like.

The people she would've met. The lessons learned.

The love she might have known?

Squeezing the sand between her toes. Letting the waves rinse them free.

This woman on the beach is me.

I've had a wonderful life, and have met very interesting people along the way.

Learned many lessons and have stories to tell.

And have a God who I know and love. And I never want to change that part of my life.

So, I won't look back with regret. Just move foward on the beach of life.

This is kind of nice Julie

the beach in the sunrise morn' is where I am sworn to think the things and praise for the reach of my spirit for the heavens and the universe to my soul then outward in quotes of love. Thank you Julie, Mark

A place I feel very insignifacent....

the beach. When the beaches are tainted it is hard to capture the feeling this poem gives the reader in words.I believe I will walk down to the beach tomorrow. I need to feel a bit more proportional. In ink, David

The beach

Thanks for all comments; i really appreciate all the nice comments! As for david's! You weren't on my beach! That's ok! Everybody looks at poetry differently. That's what makes it so special! I'm sorry you missed my point in the poem. it's not so much about the beach. It was about ME!:)
