A Magic Day

I witnessed magic, today.

I saw a rainbow and the colors dripped into my eyes...

..and though the sight was only temporary,

it permanently etched an inscription on my soul...

..and I felt alive.

I measured compassion,

as I heard two become one in conversation.

So complete was their understanding,

that I was silenced by my heart, and was told to be still.

In this instance, I heeded my inner ear.

I shared posession of love, today.

For a moment we shared each measure.

The one who shared it with me knew enough not to scar the magic...

..and to allow it room to grow...

..and I felt alive.

This is absolutely beautiful. I am lost for words - awesome! Rainbows are special and you just made them more so. Kaz It's impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside.
