An old bird in a nest

An old bird in a nest

---------------------------

It wad too aged and sick

which lied in a dead end of that nest

None cared to it's prey and its needs

It was deserted by it's own blood

They are in the hands of youth  and

their care is only to feed their own youngs

They feel ,that no use from that old and

it's death results nothing great loss

Such selfish thought drives them to desert that dear

Yes.

It was very dear and received everything from him

Now ?

It was a burden to them

It decided

to commit suicide to put an end to it's miseries

It has perfectly done and left some feathers in that nest

Not only few feathers and a lesson too

Oldage is no only for it

It will come to all as a sleep and hunger

I feel your allegory fails here, friend

In nature the old are always left to die. Only humans have the quality to consider caring for and learning from the old. Tell me if you think I am wrong or have mis-read your poem. cheers, Jess
