Keep Happy

Keep every smile for somebody who needs one you waste it on me Keep your kudos for someone who needs them you waste them here Keep all the cheers for a real happy moment you waste that here

Bit down are we mate?

The smiles, kudos and cheers you bestow on others are never wasted. Do you mean you have no need of them because you have your own do you mean you are so depressed they can't reach you? The former, I hope. cheers, Jess

6000 points...

for a trip to Australia...Neopoet slush funds cover travel for advocates...oh i wasn't suppost to say that...any way I thought we were sharing our points for the Recreation Vehical...so we could rewrite the Electric Kool-aid Acid Test(only without the Kool-aid).

I am in Australia, nong,

Neopoet is run on commitment, a shoestring (I think there is at least one shoestring) and love. I am sure contributions would be appreciated but are not solicited. cheers, Jess

This is for the people who go through the motions

"wow you got a job, good for you." "nice to see things worked out." shallow praise from those who really just can wait until you praise them for things they take as granted" This poem is a come down from trite tendencies. A play on the trite farewell phrase "stay happy"or"be happy" Where i'm from you could be standing by burned out house and some well to do will say "have a good day then." I mean/feel what I say.Genuine feelings have value for me an empath. I bite my tongue at the trite happy and candy sweet cliche. I had more for this but I choked. Thus my point of "Theater Morte"A performer in a role wanting critical reviews so bad he is willing to tank a performance to see if the bad reviews are any good.Uet when he gets ready to go on stage he doesn't know if he can pull it off.so the curtain clings to him and the expectation of the crowd sinks him into the role.Sunken, a theatical murder.
