This Night
They said that you would cause me pain
And that after a while you wouldn’t remain
But I was blinded by your sweet lips
That took me on unforgettable trips
Your smile convinced me that I will be stay
How should I know that you would leave some day?
Your eyes told stories that I wouldn’t want to end
I thought they were jealous but they were a loyal friend
Your soothing touch took me to paradise’s door
How should I know you would knock me to the floor?
That body of yours kept me begging fore more
In the end I was the good guy you had to explore
The man who would die to hear you speak
Became the man you made very weak
I should have known of your ways
Now I will think about you for days
I will resort to long nights and many tears
Tonight I am learning how to forget years
Of a joy that can never be replaced in any form
Tonight my clear skies were replaced by your storm
